These international awards ratify once again that Ecuador is attracting the world with its spectacular destinations and touristic products which has given it a world recognition as a place with lots of potential to offer tourists.

Quito is the closest capital to the sun at 2,850 meters above sea level (9,350 feet), and is the only place where you can simultaneously have one foot in the Northern hemisphere and the other in the Southern hemisphere. You can experience the pure energy of the Middle of the World while walking the equatorial line, traced by the Geodesic Mission when it determined Latitude 0°0’0”. This privileged geographic location grants Quito a plethora of virtues that can be seen in its climate and natural wealth. The historic center of Quito has one of the largest, least-altered and best-preserved historic centers in the Americas, and is undoubtedly one of the city’s main tourist attractions.
